How to Delete Grubhub Account – Quick Methods

First off, it’s important to know that deleting your Grubhub account can be a permanent action. If you’re sure you want to go through with it, here’s how to do it.

Is it Possible to Delete your Grubhub Account?

There is no problem deleting your Grubhub account. It’s not as easy as some other platforms, though. Many platforms require you to log in on their website to access your account.

When you log in, you’ll usually select ““Account” under the Settings” tab. You would then click the “Delete Account” button at the bottom of the page. In contrast, Grubhub’s account deletion process isn’t as simple.

Deleting your Grubhub Account via Website

This is our first solution if you decide to finally get rid of Grubhub once and for all. This step cannot be completed using the mobile application. It is therefore recommended that you use the browser version. The information you have on Grubhub will be lost forever if you use this strategy. Here is a list of the data you will lose.

Step 1: Open your browser and delete your Grubhub account. Your account must be accessed through their official website.

Step 2: Visit the Manage your data page.

Step 3: After you have selected a plan, you will be presented with three options. Go to the bottom of the page and select Delete your personal information. 

You will be able to permanently delete your Grubhub account and all your personal information once you click it. 

Step 4: Does the category Delete your personal information include the Submit a request link? It can be clicked. 

Step 5: You will be asked to verify your email on a new page/tab. Verify your email by entering your account email address and tapping Verify my email. 

The email address associated with your Facebook or Google account must be provided if you created your account with these services. 

Step 6: A Grubhub email will be sent to you; click on the Confirm Email Address button to continue. 

Step 7: You will be taken to a page that allows you to delete the data at Grubhub after completing this step.

Step 8: Select Submit request at the bottom of the page. 

Step 9: Following this step, you will see a pop-up with two options: Delete and Cancel. Click on Delete to proceed.

Step 10: Your request will be confirmed by Grubhub in a message. 

Remove your Grubhub Account from Grubhub Website

You can also create a support ticket to deactivate your account. The steps below will guide you through the process of submitting a ticket to customer support via the website:

  1. The Manage your Data area of Grubhub can be found here.
  2. In the ‘Delete your personal information section, submit your request.
  3. Enter your email address and click “Verify my email” when you reach the “Verify your email” screen.
  4. You can submit a request by clicking “Submit Request.”
  5. You can delete by selecting “Delete.”
  6. An alert will be sent to you as soon as the confirmation is received.

Method 2: Delete Your Grubhub Account through Email

  1. Log in to your Grubhub account using the email address associated with it. Your Grubhub email ID should be included in the email’s body section, regardless of your account.
  2. Email accounts@grubhub.com with your inquiry.
  3. If you wish to leave the Subject field blank, you can type “REQUEST FOR ACCOUNT DELETION” or “GRUBHUB ACCOUNT DELETION.”
  4. Describe your reasons for wanting to delete your account in the email’s body.

Method 3: Contact Customer Service to Remove a Grubhub Account

Grubhub customer service can also help you terminate your account.

Submit a support ticket at (877) 585-1085 if you wish to delete your Grubhub account.

Method 4: Use Twitter to Delete Grubhub Account

Your GrubHub account can be used instead of your email account if the email fails.

  1. You can find Grubhub on Twitter by typing in your username at https://twitter.com/grubhub.
  2. You can log into your account by going to your account page.
  3. ‘Settings’ > ‘Tweet to Grubhub’.
  4. Share your username, email address, and reason for cancelling your account on Twitter.
  5. In the event that you confirm the details, customer support will contact you to assist you in resolving your issue.

Giving Up a Grubhub Account

Once you’ve taken these steps, your Grubhub account will be deleted. This means that you won’t be able to log into your account, order food, or access any of your saved information.

It’s also worth noting that deleting your Grubhub account won’t cancel any existing orders. If you have an order in progress, you’ll need to contact Grubhub to cancel it before deleting your account.
